Black Teen Trump Supporter to Hillary: Tell Supporters to Stop Threats

 C.J. Pearson (Twitter)

C.J. Pearson — the black teen who backed Republican Donald Trump in a recent Time op-ed — is calling on Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton to tell her supporters to stop threatening him.

Pearson, chairman of Teens for Trump, posted a Facebook video seen below [Language Warning] in which he says people have used racial slurs to attack him online for backing a Republican, and that his family has been threatened.

"Discourse like this has no place in the political process," Pearson told Newsmax in a Twitter direct message. "As Hillary Clinton urged Bernie Sanders to condemn his supporters when they attacked her across the Internet and Trump to condemn his, I'm urging her to do the same.

"Since voicing my support for Mr. Trump, I've been called a c---, a n-----, and been subject to speculation amongst internet commenters as to why my mother didn't do the 'righteous' thing and abort me," he said. "It's a shame that adults on the left would attack a teenager for simply wanting to make a difference."

Pearson first made headlines for supporting Republican Sen. Ted Cruz for president, then switched to Democrat Bernie Sanders. He writes in the Time op-ed that his critics don't understand that like many in his generation, he believes "that the future of America is post-party politics."

"As a young black male, I’ve seen my community flailing and struggling due to the disastrous impacts of the Obama political agenda, and I refuse to allow the possibility of a Clinton presidency to extend that suffering," he wrote.

Pearson was temporarily blocked from posting to his Facebook account earlier this month after he posted one of the attacks against him, the Daily Caller reported.

Facebook told the Daily Caller that the ban was an error and reinstated Pearson's posting privileges.

Pearson has not been without controversy. The Blaze reported in September 2015 that Pearson's claims, that he was blocked by the White House Twitter account, did not hold water. Pearson has denied he manipulated a "screen grab" showing the @POTUS account had blocked him.
