Donald Trump is firing back at
President Barack Obama, who said on Tuesday that he does not think he will be elected as president, because it's not like "hosting a talk show or a reality show.
"It's not [about] being a community organizer, which is what he was, that was about it," the real estate tycoon told
Fox News' "Fox & Friends" program. "I built one of the greatest companies, some of the great assets in the world, very little debt and tremendous cash flow. It's the thinking our country needs."
Obama, Trump continued, is "going to go down as perhaps the worst president in the history the United States, and he certainly wouldn't like to see me [become president]."
But, Trump said, it's a "badge of honor" for him when such statements like Obama's are made about him.
"That means I'm the one that they're looking at," said Trump, pointing out that he's also criticized by Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
"The last person Hillary wants to run is me and as you see I'm beating her in the polls," said Trump. "I think we'll do just fine. We have a tremendous number of people that want to see America be great again. That's what we're doing."
