"Everybody" knows Hillary Clinton is guilty of allegations she sold access to her as secretary of state in exchange for donations to the Clinton Foundation, and what's more, "she knows she's guilty, too," Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump charged Wednesday.
"She's lied all over the place," Trump told Fox News' Ainsley Earhardt Tuesday, in an interview airing on "Fox & Friends" Wednesday morning. "It's almost like she can do whatever she wants to do. I think it's so unfair. It's so bad for our country."
On Tuesday, Fox News reported that a review of State Department call logs showed nearly 148 messages were left for her from then-Clinton Foundation CEO Laura Graham over a two-year time frame.
Trump said that was "beyond belief."
"All of these people, first of all, they're not supposed to be setting up meetings. And when they set up the meetings, take a look at what's happening," said Trump. "Take a look at what is happening, whether it's Bahrain or whatever."
Trump has been calling for a special prosecutor to investigate the connection between Clinton and her family's foundation, and told Earhardt that the situation is "out of control, from the standpoint of justice and what's supposed to be happening, law and order. You look at all of these acts – where she's 100 percent guilty."
Further, he said meetings between Clinton and Foundation donors "didn't take place to say hello," but rather because the donors wanted to "talk turkey."
"These people aren't there to say, 'Gee, it's a wonderful day; the weather is beautiful,'" Trump told Earhardt. "You follow up those meetings – whether it's missiles, planes or maybe something personal. A lot of things happen from those meetings."
