Security Beefed Up in NYC After Boston Explosions

New York City police stepped up security at hotels and other prominent locations following explosions at the Boston Marathon Monday afternoon.

NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said critical-response teams are deployed around the city until more about the explosions are learned.

The blasts occurred at the finish line of the marathon Monday afternoon.
