Sarah Palin took in the sites in New York City, including The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. She remarked on her website, www.sarahpac.com, that she was reminded of Ronald Reagan’s speech at Ellis Island in 1980 and how, for so many people, their first glimpse of America was the Statue of Liberty. Palin headed to MA, which experienced severe weather and she said she was praying for the residents trying to pick up in the aftermath.
