Now that more than 24 thousand emails of Sarah Palin’s have been released, the mainstream media is trying to make sense of it all. While many are looking for scandal, most are finding anything but.

The Huffington Post, one of Palin’s most virulent and mean-spirited critics, has yet to uncover a “gotcha” email and instead has uncovered a remarkable thing: Sarah Palin is exactly who she says she is.

The Huffington Post notes that Palin emerged on the national scene in 2008 and became an immediate political superstar. The website cites emails that show Palin had supporters from as far away as Florida writing to her in the days leading up to her Vice Presidential announcement, hoping she would join the McCain ticket. The Huff Post reporter says Palin truly took the left by surprise because, just weeks before her 2008 bid, democratic strategists did not even have her on their radar.
