Unemployment Claims Remain Near 5-Decade Low

Unemployment benefits claims in the U.S. remained at an almost five-decade low, Labor Department figures showed Thursday.

Jobless claims decreased by 1,000 to 214,000 in the week ended Nov. 3, Bloomberg reports, adding that the four-week average of initial claims fell to 213,750.
