President Barack Obama's spokesman says the Internet's Twitter site is an "amazing tool" and a "fabulous medium."
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs says Twitter also challenges him to boil his thoughts down to 140 characters, the maximum allowed on Twitter postings.
In an interview broadcast Sunday on CNN's "Reliable Sources," Gibbs says Twitter allows him to reach not just reporters but tens of thousands of people curious about what Obama is doing.
