The U.S. has never raised former Vice President Joe Biden and his son during trade talks with China, a top White House official said.

“The president’s view is there is no linkage between that and the trade talks,” White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow told reporters on Monday.

Kudlow said he guarantees there will be no link between the talks and President Donald Trump’s request that China investigate the Bidens.
