HSBC Chief Gulliver: Likely US May Be Downgraded to AA

HSBC Holdings Plc Chief Executive Officer Stuart Gulliver said it was likely the U.S. would be downgraded to AA by credit ratings companies.

“I don’t see a way not, in fact, for the rating agencies to downgrade to AA,” Gulliver said on a call with journalists today.
