G7 Partners, Europeans United on Russia in Ukraine Crisis

The G7 is an informal grouping of seven of the world's leading economies that includes: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union.

Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said G7 partners were united regarding sanctioning Russia for its recognition of breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine.

"We will respond in unity with a comprehensive bundle of sanctions which we have been preparing over the last weeks and which we can sharpen further," Bearbock told journalists in Paris on Tuesday.
