Wall St Opens Higher as Banks Report Strong Quarter

Wall Street's main indexes opened higher on Thursday after big banks reported better-than-expected quarterly results, helping investors to look away from inflation concerns.

As of 9:50 a.m. EST, the Dow was up 347.41 points (1.01%), Nasdaq gained 181.08 points (1.24%), and the S&P 500 was up 45.64 points (1.05%).
