Not everyone thinks corporate speak is cool.
A survey of 1,500 workers by business training company Preply found that 20% of American workers dislike buzzwords — but 70% use them, however hackneyed, in order to be in sync with their colleagues and to sound professional.
Not to be outdone, CareerAddict.com has a list of 50 annoying corporate speak words and phrases, including: see if the cat licks it up; viral; next-gen, baby; monetize; cash cow; and boil the ocean.
The overused phrase "no worries" could be thrown in for good measure.
Conversely, phrases that people like include: at the end of the day, debrief and sweep the floor.
