Toyota Motor Corp. says a recall of eight models in Europe over faulty gas pedals may affect up to 1.8 million cars.
It says it will recall its biggest seller Yaris, the Corolla and the RAV4 sports utility vehicle.
The company said it could not give a precise number for how many cars would be involved.
