Berkshire Hathaway Cut by S&P as Rating Firm Revises Criteria

Berkshire Hathaway Inc., the company run by billionaire Warren Buffett, had its credit grade cut one level by Standard & Poor’s after the ratings company revised its criteria.

Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire’s rating was cut to AA from AA+, according to a statement today on S&P’s website.
