As an attorney from the New Orleans region, I realize the job of a district attorney is a big job. My DA when I was in college was Harry Connick, Sr., and he was a great district attorney. Connick’s nephew Paul Connick was our other DA for Jefferson Parish next to New Orleans, and Harry’s son is also a famous celebrity and musician.

Our Sheriff in Louisiana, Harry Lee, was America’s first Chinese-American sheriff. He was tough on crime, about 6'2", and wore boots and cowboy hats. Elections in Orleans and Jefferson are a huge deal as they are two of the most prosperous regions in the state of Louisiana.

On a electoral note, a district attorney or sheriff is usually elected by the vote in a county or parish. Some counties in the USA have over 1 million inhabitants where these elections are complicated and very costly. Examples: Los Angeles County, California: Over 10 million people; Cook County, Illinois: Over 5 million people; Harris County, Texas: Over 4.8 million people; Maricopa County, Arizona: Over 4.6 million people.

In today’s circus of legal minds, the DA from any county in any state could theoretically indict and prosecute any high profile individual that has trafficked fraud, conspiracy, consumer fraud, or election crimes by mail, internet, or even over the airways of a county. Remember, it cost about $40 million for powerful Congressman Tom DeLay and Governor McDonnell to achieve exoneration from their flimsy persecutions.

However, political discrimination and harassment could create an unintended backlash against liberal prosecutors, celebrities and corrupt politicians. Because of the vast number of prosecutors in the USA, things could get ugly fast for anyone snickering at Trump or Giuliani.

Keep in mind, the USA is a big sprawling land mass with thousands of big counties and small counties. With that in mind, below is the conundrum for liberal prosecutors. There are some small counties in the middle of nowhere that could prosecute somebody from LA, New York, Hollywood or DC.

Here are the estimated populations for the least populated counties in the USA:

  1. Loving County, Texas: It's known for having one of the smallest populations in the U.S., often fluctuating around a few dozen people.
  2. Kalawao County, Hawaii: Kalawao County is a unique case as it primarily consists of the Kalaupapa National Historical Park, which was established to preserve the history of those affected by Hansen's disease (leprosy). As of the 2020 census, the population was 79.
  3. King County, Texas: As of the 2020 census, the population was 272.
  4. Kenedy County, Texas: As of the 2020 census, the population was 412.
  5. Arthur County, Nebraska: As of the 2020 census, the population was 444.
  6. Mineral County, Colorado has only 924 citizens. Some counties in Colorado are bigger than than the state of Rhode Island.

Conservatives Have 5 Times as Many Local Prosecutors than Democrats in the USA:

There are 3,143 counties and county-equivalents in the United States. In the 2016 United States presidential election, Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, won in 2,626 counties across the country.

There are over 30,321 district attorneys currently employed in the United States. The most common ethnicity of district attorneys is white (76.0%), followed by Hispanic or Latino (7.7%) and Asian (6.3%).

Thus, there are over 30,000 district attorneys in the United States and roughly 80% of them generally do not support the KGB or communist style political persecutions. Therefore, there are probably 5 times as many pro-Constitutionalist county prosecutors in the United States than there are in liberal anti-Trump counties.

Small-Time Convictions & Big Fish

On a high crimes and bribery note, Louisiana had an untold number of politicians who were prosecuted and convicted for bribes, payoffs, kickbacks, quid pro quo, and even the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). However, most of these folks were said to be caught taking money or something of value for favors.

One of my favorite governors was convicted and put in prison. Governor Edwin Edwards was a populist Democrat dealmaker, but compared to the mass corruption and fraud in DC these days, Edwards deserves a posthumous pardon.

One of my classmates in law school, Senator Derrick Shepherd, was also convicted and went to jail. Again, Derek’s offenses look like “de minimus fringe” “crumbs off the table” compared to corruption, no-show jobs, and payoffs given to DC insiders and their family members.

Further, my U.S. Congressman William Jefferson was convicted of taking bribes also. They say Jefferson took $100,000 or so dollars.

In contrast, selling influence seems to be the path to riches. The Clintons raked in $153 million is special fees in recent years. Bill Clinton made millions with odd honorary jobs while his wife was running the State Department. The Obamas net worth was about $400,000 as they exited the White House, whereas the Obamas are now magically worth somewhere between $70 million and $100 million.

Former FBI personality James Comey is worth up to $20 million and 30 million and got million-dollar payments for doing deals while briefly outside of the FBI. Comey’s FBI even offered $1 million taxpayer dollars to a former MI6 agent to concoct negative evidence about Trump which was effectively used to overthrow the government. Comey’s salary at the FBI was $185,000 dollars a year.

As for mass consumer fraud and imputed income, we still don’t know if major social media insiders were taking any money under the table to de-amplify or kill good news or suppress bad news about candidates in 2020 and 2022.

Overall, many of these people getting rich selling influence or suppressing free speech, and colluding with media need to be careful because there may be 25,0000 district attorneys out there looking for glory. When district attorneys see the free media given to Alvin Bragg in New York and Fani Willis in Atlanta, they may want to amplify their own local profile and publicity.

These 25,000 heartland prosecutors may start looking for ways to file fraud, conspiracy, “quid pro quo” bribery, racketeering, extortion, money laundering, and wire fraud charges against high-profile folks to force famous people to get a “mug shot” in small town jails on main street USA. For example, there is a video with major Hollywood celebrities coaxing and chastising federal electors to defect and overthrow an incoming government. Any one of these celebrities or politicians denying the 2016 election could easily be indicted using the same logic as was used against Trump.

With the crazed media chasing these stories, it seems that prosecuting famous people could be a new cottage industry that is good for tourism and good reality TV too!

While I can’t imagine Pelosi, Bush, Maddow, Cheney or Obama prosecuted in my home area of Amite, Louisiana which is the locale of the famous Britany Spears family, anything is possible as the Democrats have opened the door to frivolous KGB-style prosecutions.

What is crazy is that a foreign offender who is hypothetically charged or indicted in the 21st District of Louisiana in Amite, would be indicted by a district attorney that I went to high school with. Further, a law school classmate of mine, Sheriff Edwards (The governor's brother), may be in charge of the “mug shot” and Majority Leader Steve Scalise might be there for photo ops as the jail is not far from Scalise’s home and Congressional district.

To make things more ironic, if the case ends up at the U.S. Supreme Court, another neighbor originally from Scalise’s district, Justice Barrett, might need to hear the final appeal.
