Oil Heads Toward 2010 High

Energy prices jumped Friday as a government job report showed a smaller-than-expected loss, signaling a potential boost in gasoline demand.

Here's a breakdown of how energy prices traded Friday:

On the New York Mercantile Exchange:

Crude: rose $1.29 to settle at $81.50 a barrel.

Gasoline: climbed 3.73 cents to settle at $2.2710 a gallon.

Heating oil: rose 2.87 cents to settle at $2.0974 a gallon.

Natural gas: climbed 1.8 cents to settle at $4.593 per 1,000 cubic feet.

On the ICE futures exchange:

Brent crude: rose $1.35 to settle at $79.89.
