President Barack Obama says a new nuclear arms treaty with Russia is an important milestone for nuclear security and U.S.-Russia relations.
He also says it's just one step on a longer journey, setting the stage for further cuts in the countries' nuclear arsenals.
The treaty was signed by Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev (dih-MEE'-tree med-VYEH'-dyev) in Prague on Thursday.
