Miami Jai-Alai, Casino Operator Seeks Bankruptcy Protection

Florida Gaming Centers Inc., which operates a casino and jai-alai frontons in Miami, sought bankruptcy protection after a dispute with its lender.

The company listed debt of $138.3 million and assets of $180 million in Chapter 11 documents filed yesterday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Miami.
