Los Angeles Clippers Sale to Steve Ballmer Finalized, NBA Says

The sale of the Los Angeles Clippers to former Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer closed on Tuesday after a California court confirmed co-owner Shelly Sterling has the right to sell the basketball team, the NBA said.

The NBA Board of Governors had previously approved the sale and Ballmer is now the Clippers Governor, the NBA said in a statement.
