Goldman Sachs said the outlook for strategic mergers and acquisitions is improving, according to its Chief Financial Officer Denis Coleman.

Meanwhile, trading in equities and fixed income, currencies and commodities are on track to be flat on an annual basis, he told investors at the Goldman Sachs U.S. Financial Services Conference on Tuesday.
