The Trump campaign has started selling "Fredo Unhinged" T-shirts after a video went viral of CNN host Chris Cuomo’s altercation with a man who taunted him by calling him “Fredo,” Fox News reported on Wednesday.
The shirt, which features pictures of Cuomo’s face from the video, sells for $34 on Trump’s campaign merchandise store.
A description of the shirt on the site reads, “The truth hurts. He totally lost it. Help us annoy Chris Cuomo and buy your ‘Fredo Unhinged Tee’ now!”
In the video from this past Sunday, Cuomo could be seen threatening to throw the man down the stairs, with the CNN host saying the verbal attack on him was a slur on Italians.
Fredo is the character in the classic “The Godfather” movie who is the weaker, unstable brother to Michael Carleone.
Cuomo is the younger brother of Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
President Donald Trump has reacted to the video several times, even though Cuomo apologized on Tuesday morning for his role in the heated altercation, after the video was released the night before.
"Appreciate all the support but - truth is I should be better than the guys baiting me," Cuomo wrote in a tweet. "This happens all the time these days. Often in front of my family. But there is a lesson: no need to add to the ugliness; I should be better than what I oppose."
