Nigel Farage Trolled With 'He's Lying to You' Sign

Anti-President Donald Trump sentiment is not just an American thing, as Britain's Nigel Farage found Wednesday, defending Trump's early immigration actions in speaking to the European Parliament, a "viper's nest" which is "terrified of Trump."

Seb Dance, a member of European Parliament, held up a sign saying "He's lying to you."  Dance issued a statement, explaining his protest of Farage's comments.

"Mainstream politics must be more willing to challenge the nationalists and the populists," Dance wrote. "They pretend to stand up for people who are suffering, but their diet of hate, division and suspicion create only misery and poverty. It's time to stop the nuanced language: They're liars."

Farage's remarks to the EP were a call to work with the new U.S. president, as opposed to protesting his motivations for "protecting the United States of America from Islamic terrorism," in a clip shown on Fox News' "Your World" with Neil Cavuto.

"What has happened in this room and in governments around Europe, you have welcomed these people into your own homes," Farage told the parliament of dangerous immigrants. "What we need to do is to have an open dialogue with the newly elected most powerful man in the world.

"And, if you throw that rejection back in my face, then you prove yourself to be the anti-democratic zealots that I always thought you were."

Farage told Fox News host Cavuto, protesting the recent U.S. immigration actions — even in the EP — is just another way to attempt to delegitimize Trump, who might conduct deals with countries "bilaterally bypassing the bureaucrats of the European Union."

"This is being used as an excuse to attack Trump," Farage told Cavuto. "The real reason isn't that. The real reason is that this new American administration does not respect super national organizations like the European Union. It believes in nation states.

"These guys here, they were scared after Brexit — they're now terrified by Trump . . . they fear that Trump effectively will freeze them out."
