Ghislaine Maxwell, the notorious confidant of Jeffrey Epstein, was seen at a fast food restaurant in Los Angeles.

Maxwell is alleged to have recruited underage girls for Epstein's alleged sex trafficking operation. Despite a report that she was hiding out in a $3 million mansion in New England, the New York Post found her eating at an In-N-Out Burger in L.A.

She was seen on Monday eating a burger and fries while reading, "The Book of Honor: The Secret Lives and Deaths of CIA Operatives." The book is a bestseller by journalist Ted Gup.

Maxwell was seated with her dog, the Post noted.

She appeared to be surprised that she was found and said: "Well, I guess this is the last time I'll be eating here!"

Despite Epstein's death in jail, prosecutors have vowed to keep their investigation going into his activities and those of any of his potential co-conspirators. According to victims' claims, Maxwell recruited them to have sex with Epstein and other rich and powerful men.
