Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday said he welcomed South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol's decision to rescind a martial law declaration in the country.

"We continue to expect political disagreements to be resolved peacefully and in accordance with the rule of law," Blinken said in a statement.
