Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski stopped short of announcing a bid for the Senate out of New Hampshire, but he did fire a salvo for a potential campaign, predicting "if I get into this race, I'm going to win."

"We're going to think about it," Lewandowski told "The Cats Roundtable" on 970 AM-N.Y. "But if I get into this race, I'm going to win, and I'm going to beat [N.H. Dem Senator] Jeanne Shaheen, who voted against [Supreme Court Justice Neil] Gorsuch. She voted against [Justice Brett] Kavanaugh. She voted to continue to fund sanctuary cities.

"Those are not the values of the people of New Hampshire. So, if I get into this race, I think I can beat her."

Talk of Lewandowski's bid for the Senate in his home state of New Hampshire was rampant as he joined President Donald Trump at a rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Thursday.

"Jeannie Shaheen has failed the people of New Hampshire by voting in lock step with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi," Lewandowski told The Hill. "The people of New Hampshire deserve better. If I run, I would be a voice for all the people of New Hampshire."

The state is a battleground for 2020 as Trump narrowly lost there to Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Shaheen received a narrow majority of about 51% in both 2008 and 2014, according to the report.

"Jeanne Shaheen has been in elective office in New Hampshire for over 20 years and now she is exceptionally wealthy," Lewandowski told host John Catsimatidis. "I think it's time to hold these people accountable. They go in poor and they come out very rich. They think that it's a job that they're entitled to, and that they can keep for the rest of their lives."
