Death Toll in Turkish Peace Rally Blasts Reaches 102

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Turkish authorities have increased the death toll from the suicide bombings that targeted a peace rally in the capital Ankara to 102 from the previous 99.

The Ankara Chief Prosecutor's office said Friday one of the hundreds of people who were wounded in the attack died in hospital Friday. It didn't explain the other additional deaths.

The prosecutor's office said 13 people are being questioned over the Oct. 10 attacks and that investigators had "important clues and information" about the perpetrators.

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has suggested both Kurdish rebels and the Islamic State group could be behind the attacks. Some analysts are skeptical about claims of Kurdish rebel involvement because many Kurdish activists attended Saturday's rally, and some were among the dead and injured.
