Planned Parenthood, ACLU Sue Over Wisconsin Abortion Law

Friday, 05 July 2013 07:26 PM EDT

The American Civil Liberties Union and Planned Parenthood Federation of America sued Wisconsin over a new law that would require abortion providers to have hospital admitting privileges.

The groups allege that the measure, set to take effect July 8, would force two of the state’s four abortion clinics to stop offering services, violating women’s constitutional rights.
