An undercover agent with the Transportation Security Administration was able to hide a gun in her bra and get through security at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport without being detected — several times, according to a TSA source.

The agent was testing the enhanced-imaging body scanners and made it past the scanners every time she tried, said the source, whose leaked test results were reported on NBC News.
“In this case, where they had a test, it was just a dismal failure, as I’m told,” said Larry Wansley, former head of security at American Airlines. “You’ve got a problem, especially with a firearm.”
None of the TSA agents who failed to spot the gun on the scanned image were disciplined, the TSA source disclosed.
TSA agents say the scanners are effective, but only if the agents monitoring them are paying attention, according to NBC.
