Donald Trump on Monday said U.S. credibility is in "free fall" around the world because of incompetence and mismanagement by the Obama administration, ranging from new disclosures of spying on allied leaders to the disastrous rollout of Obamacare.
"Our country is in a free fall. And, something better be done fast, because we're a joke all over the world," the real estate and entertainment mogul
said on "Fox & Friends."

Trump called it a "terrible thing" for the U.S. government to intercept the personal phone calls of allied leaders such as German Chancellor Angela Merkel. He also said it was "impossible to believe" President Barack Obama didn't know anything about the National Security Agency's listening in on phone calls made by,
according to NBC, about 35 world leaders.
"And, these are really good allies of ours. I think it's just so terrible. And, it's on their personal cellphone," Trump said. "It's impossible to believe he didn't know about tapping the head of Germany, the head of France."
Last week, Merkel called the president to voice her displeasure at reports the United States intercepted calls on her personal cellphone. A spokesperson for Merkel called it a "grave breach of trust."
At issue also are the problems with the Obamacare rollout and website difficulties that show "gross mismanagement," Trump said. He predicted the government healthcare law would "fall of its own weight."
"This is gross mismanagement, and they never will recover from it. If Obamacare had a chance, which I think is going to fall of its own weight, anyway. But, if it had a chance, this had to be seamless. And, it's a disaster," he said.
"These kind of things have never happened with our country," Trump said. "We have an interesting country going on right now, folks."
