Roughly 300,000 of President Donald Trump's supporters have applied to attend his rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 19th, the first since the coronavirus pandemic struck in early March.

Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale announced the numbers on Friday for the rally, which is scheduled to be held at the BOK Center in Tulsa.

"Trump #MAGA Rally in Tulsa is hottest ticket ever! Over 200K tickets already & it’s not even political season. Looking at a 2nd event in town to get more people to be w/@realDonaldTrump. Gonna be GREAT in the most open state in nation!" Parscale tweeted, then later accounted for the increase in tickets.

"By clicking register below, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present," the disclaimer on the registration page reads.

"By attending the Rally, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; BOK Center; ASM Global; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury."

The president's campaign requires anyone registering for the event not to hold the Trump campaign, the BOK Center or any other parties involved with the rally legally liable if they contract coronavirus at the rally.

Republican Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt responded to the president's upcoming event by saying his state can act as a "national example" for the United States on how to reopen safely during the coronavirus pandemic.

"We are honored President Trump accepted our invitation to our great state," said Stitt in a statement. "The President is making Oklahoma his first campaign stop since March 2, and his visit here confirms Oklahoma is the national example in responsibly and safely reopening."
