Spirit Airlines' Ad Capitalizes on Weiner Scandal

New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner may be facing serious questions about the latest revelations of his sexually explicit conduct with a woman on the Internet, but some people can't help but see the funny side of it all.

Spirit Airlines has launched a new promotion inviting customers to celebrate its success for a fictional production it created, entitled, "The Weiner Rises Again."

The ad features "Carlos Danger," the Internet handle Weiner reportedly used to communicate with a woman he met on the Internet after his 2011 resignation from Congress for similar behavior.

The ad features a stand-up, blindfolded hot dog and offers a $24 discount on flights to customers booking vacation packages to Mexican resorts of Cancun or Los Cabos from August to November.
