“Spicer & Co.’’ -- the red-hot, most-buzzed-about political talk show of 2020 -- debuts Tuesday at 6 p.m. ET on Newsmax TV, America’s fastest-growing cable news network.

Joining host Sean Spicer, the former White House press secretary, is co-host Lyndsay Keith and a rabble-rousing panel of Washington insiders, journalists and power brokers who will analyze the top headlines from the Beltway and beyond.

“Sean knows American politics blindfolded and never, ever pulls his punches,” said Elliot Jacobson, chief content officer and EVP of programming. “He’s going to shake up the tired old news and opinion shows the networks peddle and generate explosive, attention-grabbing headlines that will have America talking.”

Over the past few weeks, the anticipation for “Spicer & Co.,’’ has brought the program wide attention from outlets including The New York Times, Variety, The Daily Beast, Adweek, Deadline, Page Six, Salon, Broadcasting & Cable, New York magazine and Mediaite, among others.

“Spicer promises to ‘cover the topics that everyone in America is thinking about but no one is asking or talking about,’’’ said The Wrap, a leading entertainment news blog.

Co-host Keith, who previously served as deputy communications director of the  Republican National Committee, said: "I’m excited to be working with longtime friend and colleague Sean Spicer. Few are equipped as well as Sean to pull back the curtain and bring viewers in on the day-to-day conversations happening in Washington.’’

The Washington-based “Spicer & Co’’ broadcasts weekdays from studios near the White House and is exclusive to Newsmax TV.

“We are going to offer viewers a unique perspective and insights into what’s really happening, who is up, who’s down and most importantly how it’s going to affect their lives,’’ Spicer said. “We will ask the questions and cover the topics that everyone in America is thinking about but no one is asking or talking about.”

Spicer has a long and distinguished career working in Washington, having spent years on Capitol Hill helping craft policy and working with the media. Outside D.C., he's been a key player on numerous congressional and national political campaigns.

Spicer worked as an aide and press secretary for several members of Congress and House committees. In 2011 Spicer was named communications director of the Republican National Committee and from 2014-16 also served as its chief strategist.

In December 2016, President-elect Donald Trump tapped Spicer as the nation’s 28th White House press secretary.

After his tour in the White House, Spicer wrote a memoir about his time in Washington, “The Briefing: Politics, the Press, and the President.’’ It quickly became a New York Times bestseller.
