Rasmussen Reports declared itself the best 2016 election pollster, based on final tabulations from RealClearPolitics.
Rasmussen was closest in predicting the popular vote but came in at No. 2 behind the IBD/TIPP tracking poll in predicting closest to Electoral College results, according to RealClearPolitics.
IBD/TIPP came in at No. 2 behind Rasmussen predicting the popular vote. Some might call that a draw.
"Our final poll was the closest among all pollsters who correctly picked Hillary Clinton to win the popular vote," Rasmussen wrote. "We had Clinton up 1.7 percent. In reality, she won the popular vote by 1 percent."
Though RealClearPolitics' tabulations had Rasmussen final prediction at Clinton +2.
"With another election successfully behind us, Rasmussen Reports is open for business to any and all who would like to know what America really thinks," Rasmussen wrote.
