A Colorado man planning an armed protest against the state's coronavirus restrictions has been arrested for possession of pipe bombs, ABC News reports.
Bradley Bunn, 53, was served with search warrants at his home in Loveland, Colorado, on Friday morning when four devices were found by FBI and ATF agents. Potential bomb agents also were found, according to the report.
It was not clear what Bunn planned to do with the devices.
Law enforcement first became aware of Bunn through social media posts when he encouraged people to bring assault-style weapons to a May 1 rally at the Colorado capitol building, according to ABC News.
Bunn's posts were described as angry and aggressive, an official briefed on the case told ABC. He was arrested before the event took place.
If convicted, Bunn could face up to 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
