The Obama campaign has released a sickly-sweet new video of the first couple talking about their first date — with Michelle praising Barack’s choices and the president advising other men to “take tips” from him.
The 81-second clip, entitled “Dinner with Barack and Michelle,” was released on YouTube over the weekend. It starts with the First Lady saying, “It was a cool date, actually. We spent the whole day together.”
When she talks about how her future husband took her to the Art Institute of Chicago, he interrupts to say, “Art — guys out there, it impresses people, it shows…” before trailing off.
As she reminisces about going for “a nice long walk” along Michigan Avenue, he smirks, and adds, “We got all romantic.”
The couple also say they had lunch and went to the movies to see Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing.”
“He showed all the sides, he was hip, cutting-edge, cultural, sensitive,” recalls Michelle, before the president winks at the camera as he says “take tips gentlemen.”
