New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and NBC "Today" weatherman Al Roker reconciled their differences after a spat over city schools not being canceled during a snowstorm earlier this month.
De Blasio cut the ribbon Monday to mark the official reopening of "Today's" new plaza. Roker said the two had talked about the dust up, and all was well.
"We had a little chat about school closings and snow, and we both want the best for the school kids and our city," Roker said Monday during the "Today" ribbon cutting.

The popular weatherman
publicly scolded de Blasio for not closing schools during the snowstorm Feb. 13, and issued a forecast for the mayor on Twitter that said, "Long range diBlasio forecast: 1 term."
He later
publicly apologized for the "1 term" statement.
"I think together, letting people know what's going on with the weather, letting people know how they can be safe, that's something we do together," de Blasio said, and then invited Roker to join New York sanitation workers to help out during the city's next snowstorm.
