NCAA Agrees to Settle Head Injury Suit for $70M

The NCAA has agreed to settle a class-action head injury lawsuit by providing $70 million for concussion testing and diagnosis of current and former student athletes, according to court documents filed in Chicago on Tuesday.

The agreement applies to student athletes who have played at NCAA member schools within the past 50 years but does not include bodily injury claims. The settlement must be approved by U.S. District Judge John Lee.
