"Morning Joe" looks like a beneficiary of the big changes at MSNBC and will be expanding from three hours to four "soon,"
Mediaite's Joe Concha writes.
The political roundtable program will still begin at 6 a.m. Eastern and will now air until 10 a.m.
Tamron Hall will be on the air from 10 until noon, while José Díaz-Balart appears to be off the schedule altogether, Concha writes.
The move follows the cancellation of several shows on the struggling channel's lineup and the move of
the Rev. Al Sharpton from weekdays to early Sunday mornings.
"Morning Joe" co-host Joe Scarborough is the lone conservative host on the left-leaning channel.
Also, Willie Geist may be inheriting Chris Hayes' time slot, Concha reports.
Concha hosts "The Daily Wrap" on
Newsmax TV weeknights at 6 p.m.
