Police in Colorado want to identify a woman who they say can be seen on video slapping a grocery store worker who asked her to wear a mask.
The incident occurred Feb. 3 in a King Soopers store in Parker. A video of the incident was tweeted out by the Parker Police Department.
According to KDVR-TV the store told police the customer was asked to wear a mask by an employee. The victim told police she was slapped and then called a vulgar name.
The suspect reportedly claimed a medical exemption, a police report noted. The worker told police she offered the woman other options to buy groceries.
According to police, the worker claimed the suspect is “a regular at the store,” who has repeatedly refused to wear a mask.
“Just a sign of the times … it’s a crazy time,” a customer told the TV station.
