Rep. Jim Jordan, Sen. Rob Portman House Speaker John Boehner and the rest of the Ohio Republican congressional delegation have sent a letter
to President Barack Obama asking him to address potential voter fraud as a result of his executive actions on illegal immigrants.
The letter tells Obama his actions granting legal status to millions of illegal immigrants threaten the integrity of Ohio’s voter registration rolls "as they potentially increase the number of non-citizens who can illegally register to vote and cast ballots without detection."
Jordan co-chaired a joint committee meeting Thursday on the subject with his House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Health Care, Benefits, and Administrative Rules and the Subcommittee on National Security.
Appearing later on Fox News Channel's "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren,"
Jordan said 70 elections in Ohio have been decided by one vote, meaning potentional illegal voters could sway an election.
With illegal aliens able to get driver's licenses and other documents, the chances of fraud are increased, he said.
"You have got the potential for 5 million people who now have access to those documents," he said.
