Washington Gov. Jay Inslee says President Donald Trump “is totally incapable of governing.”

His comments came after the president criticized him and Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan for their handling of the George Floyd protests.

Inslee, who had made a bid for the Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential nomination, tweeted Thursday morning: “A man who is totally incapable of governing should stay out of Washington state’s business. “Stoop” tweeting.

He appeared to intentionally misspell the word “stop” in an apparent effort to mock Trump, who misspelled it in an earlier tweet criticizing the Washington state officials.

Trump had written:  “Radical Left Governor @JayInslee and the Mayor of Seattle are being taunted and played at a level that our great Country has never seen before. Take back your city NOW. If you don't do it, I will. This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stooped IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST!"

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan also pushed back at Trump and tweeted: “Make us all safe. Go back to your bunker. #BlackLivesMatter.”

CNN had reported that Trump was hauled off to the White House underground bunker for his own protection for about an hour as protests got heated near the White House on May 29.

But Trump has claimed he wasn’t seeking refuge when he went into the bunker and was only there for a “short little period.”
