The hurricane relief effort backed by all five of the living ex-presidents raised $42 million, One America Appeal (OAA) announced Wednesday.

The effort, backed by both President George Bushes, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, received donations from 110,000 donors.

The effort also had the attention and support of President Donald Trump.

"To assist those impacted by the 2017 hurricane season, funds were distributed in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the American Virgin Islands," OAA said in its brief statement.
