Erstwhile GOP presidential candidate Jon Huntsman did not gain much traction during his quest for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, but he is winning at least one popularity contest: he is the only politician on
AARP’s list of the 21 Sexiest Men Over 50.

Calling him “the hippest dude in the conservative crowd,” the organization touted the former Utah governor’s past as a musician and his affinity for Harley Davidsons.
Asked what his wife loves about him, Huntsman explained, “She'd probably say my authenticity, which extends to my salt-and-pepper hair. She once told me that if I ever tried to add anything artificial, she'd leave me."
Huntsman is joined on AARP’s list by NBC Nightly News Anchor Brian Williams, CBS President Leslie Moonves, author John Irving and environmental activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and a slew of entertainers including actors George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Viggo Mortensen, and cellist Yo Yo Ma.
