Convicted fraudster and tax evader Joe Giudice, a former reality show spouse on “Real Housewives of New Jersey" who is facing deportation to Italy, has been granted a temporary delay, USA Today reported.

His immigration lawyers last week filed for a stay, a week after the Board of Immigration Appeals denied his appeal, the news outlet reported.

Menwhile, his wife, Teresa Giudice, who along with her husband spent time in the slammer for fraud, and daughters Gia and Milania have been asking President Donald Trump through social media to spare his deportation.

In 2014, Joe and Teresa pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. Joe Giudice also pleaded guilty to failure to pay about $200,000 in income taxes.

Terersa Giudice, 46, served 11 months in prison and was released in 2015. Joe Giudice, 46, served a 41-month prison term.

The family has started a Change.org petition to send to Trump to stop the deportation, and has gathered more than 73,000 signatures.
