Two police officers in Georgia who tossed a virtual coin on a cell phone application to decide whether to arrest a 24-year-old woman have been placed on administrative leave, 11Alive reports.

The case against the woman, 24-year-old Sarah Webb, was dropped after the prosecutor watched the body camera footage where officers Courtney Brown and Kristee Wilson laughed as they used the app.

Brown asked fellow officers what she should do after pulling Webb over for reckless driving.

"What do you think?" responding officer Wilson says on body camera footage.

“A, head. R, tail,” replies Wilson — A for arrest, or R for release.

“OK (sound of coin flip) laugh,” Brown says.

“This is tail right?” asks Wilson

“Yeah. So release?” Brown says.

“23 (code for arrest),” replies Wilson.

“Michael Jordan?” laughs Brown. “Alright, so I’ve got too fast (laugh) for conditions, reckless..”

Roswell Police Chief Rusty Grant said in a statement released Friday he was appalled by their behavior.

“This behavior is not indicative of the hardworking officers of the Roswell Police Department. I have much higher expectations of our police officers and I am appalled that any law enforcement officer would trivialize the decision-making process of something as important as the arrest of a person.”
