FBI Probing Sex Assault Allegation at Arlington Cemetery

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into a sexual assault allegation that occurred on Memorial Day at Arlington Cemetery, according to an FBI report.

An individual is being sought for "illicit sexual contact with a minor female." The FBI described the suspect as a Hispanic man believed to be between the ages of 50 and 60.

The adult male "inappropriately touched" the victim at around 11 a.m. ET and has "short, spikey, gray, and black hair," and wore a short-sleeved shirt and dark blue shorts at the time of the alleged incident.

"The incident took place while the male and the minor female victim stood in a crowd at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, during a wreath laying ceremony. The unidentified male repeatedly inappropriately touched the minor victim, whom he did not know," according to the FBI report.

The incident happened during a wreath laying ceremony.

The bureau said anyone with information on the incident can contact the FBI's Washington field office at 202-278-2000, their local office, or the nearest American embassy or consulate. Tips on the incident can be submitted on their website.
