Dr. Anthony Fauci now has his own bobblehead, but the nation's top infectious disease specialist said Friday that he doesn't have time to be involved in that kind of thing.

"I can't get involved with that peripheral stuff, bobbleheads," Fauci, who heads the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and is an integral member of the White House coronavirus task force, told Fox News' "Fox and Friends." "That's nice if people want to do it, but I have other things to worry about."

The creation is from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee and features the doctor in a suit showing how the United States must flatten the curve in the coronavirus pandemic. The museum is taking preorders for the bobbleheads, which are being sold as a fundraiser for the American Hospital Association's "100 Million Masks" campaign. The dolls cost $25 each, with $5 to go to the AHA's efforts.

Fauci, when told of the fundraiser, then said that if the bobbleheads are being sold "for a good purpose, that's great."

The bobbleheads are part of a growing trend concerning Fauci, whose face is also appearing on donuts, socks, and more.
