New York State Assembly has opened up a tip line for anyone who has information regarding evidence that could aid in the impeachment investigation of Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

The investigation began after allegations arose within the administration accusing the governor of sexual harassment. But Carl Heastie, a member of the assembly, said they would be "very broad" in their approach to allegations.

Notwithstanding sexual harassment allegations, the assembly made it a point to say that they are open to tips regarding the governor's handling of placing COVID-19 patients in nursing homes during the pandemic and the rebuilding of the Tappan Zee bridge. The $4 billion bridge rebuilt by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, which was named after his late father, former Gov. Mario Cuomo, apparently had a faulty bolt design, according to Fox News.

In March, state legislators stripped the governor of his pandemic emergency power. The assembly has appointed Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP to lead the investigation. If anyone has information pertinent to the investigation you can email the law firm at NY.Assembly.Investigation@davispolk.com or contact them by phone at (212) 450-3600.

New York attorney general Letitia James is also investigating sexual harrasment allegations against the governor.

According to CNN, Charlotte Bennet, a former staffer and one of nine accusers, said of the governor, "I thought, he's trying to sleep with me. The governor is trying to sleep with me. And I'm deeply uncomfortable and I have to get out of this room as soon as possible ... Without explicitly saying it, he implied to me that I was old enough for him and he was lonely."
