New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie released a mock Hollywood movie trailer to push for spending cuts for public workers, but within hours it had been removed from YouTube.

The trailer, "No Pain. No Gain," featured clips of Christie interspersed with scenes of explosions, car chases, New Jersey Transit trains, helicopters, and people in parachutes, as well as an action shot of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, The Daily Beast reported.

"The looming crisis is clear. We can no longer stand around and say, 'It's not a problem. Don't worry about it,'" Christie says in the clip. "There is no other way to fix a severe problem like this than with pain."

The video was produced by the governor's communications team, or "Statehouse Studios," and was "Rated R for Reform," the Daily Beast reported.

Christie has a number of summer town hall meetings planned to discuss fiscal issues at which he will argue for more cuts to state workers' benefits, according to The Associated Press

He has not yet specified the proposals he will make, according to The Daily Beast.
